Quesnel Lake is the first of our three lakes and is also home to Quesnel Lake Caribou Lodge. Quesnel Lake is 1 1/2 miles wide, 2 1/2 miles long, and 50 feet deep. The lake was named after Arthur Quesnel, a trader who lived in the town of Manigotagan in the early 1900s.
The Manitoba Master Angler program has been around for over 50 years. Each year, thousands of trophy fish from over 30 species are caught. Almost 90% of are released.
Below are the Master Anglers caught and registered in Quesnel Lake. Many more have been caught and not registered.
